Beta Features Terms
Effective date: · metyping.com operated by Tedious Lab
These Beta Features Terms supplement our Terms of Service and apply whenever you access or use features designated as "alpha," "beta," "preview," "early access," "experimental," or similar labels on metyping.com (collectively, "Beta Features").
1. Nature of Beta Features
Beta Features are works in progress. They may be:
- Incomplete, unstable, or subject to significant change
- Missing functionality present in the final release version
- Prone to bugs, errors, data loss, or unexpected behavior
- Available only in certain regions, to certain user tiers, or for limited time periods
Your access to a Beta Feature does not create an entitlement to a final, generally-available version of that feature.
2. No Guarantee of Continuation
We are not required to continue developing, maintaining, or making generally available any Beta Feature. We may at any time and without notice:
- Modify or remove a Beta Feature entirely
- Change its scope, functionality, or pricing
- Decide not to release it in any form
- Merge it into an existing feature or subscription tier
3. Use at Your Own Risk
Beta Features are provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranty, express or implied. You use them at your own risk. Do not rely on Beta Features for:
- Critical, production, or commercial workflows
- Regulated or compliance-sensitive activities
- Storage of irreplaceable data
- Any use case where errors or downtime would cause material harm
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tedious Lab is not liable for any damage, data loss, or interruption arising from your use of Beta Features.
4. Feedback
We encourage you to share feedback, bug reports, and suggestions about Beta Features. Any feedback you provide may be used by us without restriction, attribution, or compensation to you. This includes incorporating your feedback into the final product or unrelated future products.
5. Additional Restrictions
When participating in a beta program, we may impose additional restrictions, including:
- Usage limits — rate limits, quotas, or caps on feature use
- Geographic restrictions — availability limited to certain countries or regions
- Eligibility requirements — limited to specific subscription tiers or invited users
- Confidentiality — we may ask you not to publicly disclose details of unreleased features. Any such confidentiality obligation will be communicated to you at the time of access.
6. Relationship to Main Terms
In the event of a conflict between these Beta Features Terms and the main Terms of Service, these Beta Features Terms control with respect to the Beta Feature in question. All other provisions of the Terms of Service continue to apply.
